“A Very Local Original Documentary”

Ara Besque Starr is one of the Drag Queens pictured in the “Very Local” original documentary entitled Queens of Birmingham, alongside Sam Star, Imberli, Cierra Symone Campbell, Safaree Campbell Starr, and Lotus. The Documentary showcases what life is like for queer people in the south located in the bible belt. All of the queens involved are a part of The DREAMCAST at the Birmingham local gay bar known as Al’s on 7th where Ara has been a cast member since 2021.
